The Blissful Journey of Life

Everyone deserves a break, and much better if that kind of break would entitle us to widen our perspectives about the world, so we can realize how complicated yet worthwhile living in it is. Travelling for most of us is all about seeing new sights, hearing new music, tasting new food, and meeting new people, isn't it? Definitely, it is one of the most exciting and exhilarating moments of our lives.

But what really makes us more thrilled to travel? Is it about having someone with us along the journey? Is it about exploring our freedom being a solitary wanderer? Is it about how many excess kgs our luggage will add up due to souvenirs we'll buy from our trips? For me, travelling is more joyful when we travel with the eyes and ears of those who love us, ose who are close to us, who want to see our slides and hear our stories of adventures and misadventures.


This is what life is all about too. It is like being sent on a trip by a loving God, who is at the same time waiting at home for our return and is eager to watch the slides we took and hear about the friends we made. When we travel with the eyes and ears of the God who sent us, we will see wonderful sights, hear wonderful sounds, taste a rollercoster of flavors, meet wonderful people ...

...and be happy to return home. :)
